Hexacon


A layout using Nova Launcher and relying quite a bit on Zooper Widget.
This was actually inspired by taking an html/css design to Android. You can be the judge of how well that turned out ;)

Tutorial


Pre-requisite Apps:
:bulletblue: Nova Launcher
:bulletblue: Zooper Widget Pro (Paid)
:bulletblue: WidgetLocker (Paid)
:bulletblue: Media Utilities

Download theme at Dropbox

Setup


1. Create 3 blank Nova Launcher pages
2. Set the desktop grid to 9x5 (rows/columns) under Desktop
3. Set both width / height margins to "None"
4. Disable "Label Icons"
5. Allow "Widget Overlap" and "Overlap when placing" under Advanced

6. Under Dock, keep Dock icons at 5
7. Width Margin = "None"
8. Dock Height = "Large"
9. You can disable the scroll indicator and show divider if you want.
10. Enable "Dock as Overlay"

11. In the Nova Settings, hold down the volume-down button to enable Labs -> enable Any size Widget in Dock

12. Copy the zooper widget files from the zip to your SD card/Zooper/Templates
13. Put the icons somewhere on your SD card (and wallpapers too if you want them)
14. Copy the .wltheme.zip to SD card/data/com.teslacoil.widgetlocker/themes

Phew, tedious part is over!
Look to the preview as a reference to setting up the pages


Home Page


1. Set the background to your desired wallpaper (2 are included in the zip folder)
2. Create a 1x1 zooper widget and resize it to 3x3 before applying the theme. Open the Home Clock
3. Add some your apps (I'm running Phone, Messages, and Mail)

BAM done with the home page!!

Apps Page


1. Create a 1x1 widget and resize to 5x2, load App Label from your SD Card.
2. Add apps
3. Create a 1x1 widget and resize to the whole screen. You only need to change the background color to #ff191920

Note: I'm running a 3x4 app grid with the bottom row as folders

Info Page


1. All the info widgets are 5x2, resize and overlap accordingly.
2. The background pieces are 3 different widgets 5x3. Load Info - Top, Middle, Bottom, accordingly.
3. The music controls are a Media Utitlities widget, the 2x1.

App Drawer


1. Create a 2x1 widget on the homescreen.
2. Load the "App Drawer" template.
3. Drag the widget to the corner of the dock.

Lockscreen


1. Load the theme and drag it towards the bottom
2. Choose an alternate wallpaper if you want.
3. Create a 4x2 zooper widget and load the "Lockscreen Clock"

hey, my zooper widget can't detect the app label, can you help me?
